Moscow still remains in the upper lines in the list of the worlds most expensive cities.  The metropolitan hotels, too, are noted for their exorbitant prices. So, in order to help British tourists Guardian placed a list of comparatively affordable Moscow hotels on its website. 

1. Izmailovo complex which includes four blocks: Alpha, Beta, Vega and Gamma-Delta is intended for Russian guests rather than for foreigners. But a chance to rent a room for less than 70 pounds is an excellent option for budget travelers.  The nearest tube station is Parizanskaya.

2. The ASIA hotel is an even more affordable option with a single room at ₤ 26 / night and a double at ₤ 44.Ryazansky Prospect is the nearest metro station.

3. The hotel Globus is a 50 room apartment type hotel near the VDNKh metro. A one-bed apartment with kitchen will cost you less than 50 pounds.

4. The «Maxima Slavia» hotel.With on-line booking the prices start  with ₤ 85 / night. The nearest Metro station Babushkinskaya is several kilometers away but you may take a bus to get you to   VDNKh station.5. The Sputnik hotel. Its upper floor rooms offer an amazing view of the Sparrow (Vorobiovy) Hills. Single rooms are 82 pounds and doubles beginning from £ 92 up. The nearest metro station: Leninsky prospect.
